movie "Fashion"

The film “Fashion” is about rise and fall of a famous supermodel who basically comes from a small town to win fashion shows in metro cities and after once getting to the top ,she is thrown back into anonymity to start a fresh fight for the second time. The film shows stories behind the light, glamour, modeling, fashions, designers, business, endorsements and ramp shows.
Meghna Mathur wants to be famous and from childhood she has been dreaming to make it big one day. Meghna is extremely ambitious and she belongs to a conservative family and her north Indian parents’ object to her decision of being part of the glamour world. Meghna dreams of being the limelight of the glamour world and the metro cities attracts her .Nothing can stops her from realizing her dream.
She realizes her dreams, as she goes and does all required winning the fashion world. She wears make up, clothes, colors and she succeeds. She reaches the peak of her career and walks on ramp for the leading designers of the country. She is flooded with endorsements, photographers, comes in romance, partying and many number of shows.
Then the Karma starts to pay her as she feels she is paying for her fame. She cannot be back to her roots and she makes up that she will never give up. The film shows that “In the world of glamour, that changes a person completely, a person cannot be true to himself.”
The film will be released on 29 October 2008.
